ADAM BROCKLESBY
Animation, Art & Storyboards
Hello There.
Welcome to my Portfolio, I am a Freelance Animator/Artist and on this website you'll find all of my work throughout the years from both commissions, school and fun, I hope you enjoy what you see and have fun browsing all my work.
Recently I had the fortune and privilege to both attend and graduate from ‘Sheffield Hallam University’ with a 2nd Class Certificate & Honours in my field and I feel that your studio would be an ideal place not only to start work but also gain more skill in real world of animation.
Around my home town I have taken on a number of jobs to gain
both money and experience including designed the badge of a local
pubs football team (The team and pub are now both defunct
unfortunately but I still have designs and reference numbers to
former members) including designing posters for a number of
companies and even getting an offer from the well known Bar &
Restaurant chain ‘Wetherspoons’ to design their business cards for
the local establishment. Also when I briefly interned at a furniture
shop in Rotherham I was asked to make an advertisement utilise
both animation and real life footage to go on the company’s
website.
My work also exceeds beyond the world of profit, in my free time I
frequently animate and draw for leisure and have several projects in
production right now and accounts on several creative sites such as YouTube, DeviantArt and Twitter, to showcase some of this work, I have kept these accounts for a long time so some of the older work on there may not have held up to my current standards due to myself not having the skills and resources I have now but I feel that this shows ambition from a young age to work with whatever I have available to accomplish what I did (links and web addresses are available on my CV at your leisure).
If perhaps we could meet and discuss a possible role in your organisation I would be highly appreciative, if not in a paid role if none are currently available perhaps in some form of internship that may possibly lead into a more integral role in your company. Thank you for taking to time to read this and I hope to hear back from you soon.
Sincerely
-Adam Brocklesby
